How much does a sign cost?

The answer is simple – the same as the length of a piece of string! The price of your signage goes towards quite a few elements: method of printing, substrates used, surface type, location of installation etc. The good news is that there are so many ways to do it, you will always find one that suits both your budget and your needs. Some of the questions we would ask you first are: is the sign temporary or permanent, indoors or outdoors? Outdoor signs need to be weather and UV resistant. Must it be self supporting or mounted against a wall? For example, drywalls can’t support very heavy fabricated structures so a site inspection may be required to check the surface. An inspection allows us to get a whole lot of valuable info that will prevent any nasty surprises (and additional costs) on the day. For example: access to the installation area (is scaffold required?), availability of a power source plus any surface prepping that may be required before application. Most importantly, taking accurate measurements is critical, so to avoid the cost of a reprint we advise leaving that responsibility to those doing the installation. But don’t be put off here, signage can also be kept remarkably simple – printed vinyl onto perspex (or forex for a more cost effective solution) can be applied with mirror tape or spacer bolts and make a really strong statement at your entrance without costing much at all. Let us know what you’re thinking of and we will make suggestions and give you pricing on various solutions.
