#2. CANNABIS SATIVA LABEL DESIGN

An unusual product to start with; a hemp infused vodka; grew into an entire range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including teas, energy drinks, beers and flavoured waters. The design of the Cannabis Sativa logo and subsequent labelling across the range of glass bottles and aluminium cans, has been an epic creative journey of both hand and computer rendered illustration and typography. Due to the legislative limitations surrounding alcohol marketing, there were a lot of changes required to the artwork, but luckily that’s where digital print finds its stride – in being quick, flexible and affordable.

#1. ADDIS IN CAPE RESTAURANT

With Addis in Cape it all started with a simple upgrade to an existing logo. Our research took us into the history of Ethiopian art and symbolism and resulted in the new look that they have today. Having won their trust during this process we continued into the creation of a wide range of printed media and signage; including handcrafted wooden menu covers.

It’s fantastic to be able to curate all elements of a company’s brand as it allows you to take a holistic approach to applying your concept across every visual aspect. This results in a cohesive aesthetic that portrays a brand that is serious about perceptions and that pays attention to detail.

The most recent accomplishment for Addis was the development of their new website providing them with a fast loading, interactive and visually eye grabbing online presence.

It’s also been a lot of fun and we look forward to a continued shaping of the Addis in Cape brand…
